edgeBOX Manages Wireless Communications at Communications Industry Main Event

Industry Association relies on Critical Links edgeBOX to provide Wireless Communications to Hundreds of Communications Congress Participants

Lisbon, Portugal, 27th November 2006 – Critical Links, an international networking technology company, has partnered with APDC – a portuguese communications industry not-for-profit association, to provide the communications industry main event with reliable, secure, wireless communications.

At the event, edgeBOX, an innovative device providing an unique set of complete converged voice, data networking and security services, managed the fixed network connection, the “Access Points” network in the Congress, and hundreds of user accounts. The solution’s levels of security, quality, and its ease of implementation, were demonstrated days before the Congress and widely confirmed during the three-day event.

APDC – Associação Portuguesa para o Desenvolvimento das Comunicações – was founded in November 1984 as a communications industry not-for-profit association . It aims to monitor industry trends and promote knowledge and debate about the communications industry evolution and its impact on society and the economy. Currently it has over 200 company and 2000 professional associates. It promotes a number of regular events and publishes industry magazines and anuaries.
